How can we help?

Managing dates

For each task on a Board, a start date and a due date can be set to facilitate planning and tracking.

How to set dates for a task?

Click on the Dates button in the task’s card. With the date picker, start by selecting a start date, then a due date.

You can change the start and end dates by selecting new ones in their individual field.

Visual alerts in the board

When tasks are due soon, the dates become color coded to alert the user.

If the due date is less than 24 hours: the date shows in red on the card.

If the due date is between 24 and 48 hours: the date shows in yellow on the card.

If the due date is in more than 48 hours: the date shows in dark blue.

Effect on summaries

The status of a task in the weekly and daily summaries is based on the date set for this task.

When the due date is passed, then the task appears in the Overdue tasks section of the weekly and daily summary.

When the due date is in the next three days (excluding Saturday and Sunday), the task appears in the Due Soon section of the daily summary.

When the due date is next week, the task appears in the Due Soon section of the weekly summary.
